ZZIPT redefines one of the most overlooked yet environmentally harmful tools in cable management – traditional cable ties. Our innovative redesign separates the cable tie strap from a uniquely engineered two-way gripper head, enabling the reuse of cable tie offcuts that would otherwise be sent to landfill.

  • Conventional cable ties provide a quick, cheap solution for many applications in a range of industries worldwide, including cable management, quick fixes, and general organisation to name a few. Despite this, cable ties create substantial amounts of waste once trimmed to size, leaving unusable wasteful tails which end up in landfill. Sustainable alternatives are incredibly limited, and many existing cable tie products offer low tensile strength and need replacing after limited use, further increasing the amount of plastic waste.

  • ZZIPT No Waste Cable Ties provide a simple yet effective solution to wasteful conventional cable ties – stemming from the humble idea of separating the tail from the gripper head. Both parts utilise groundbreaking internal bi-directional teeth, allowing the tail to loop through the gripper head on both sides in any direction with zero compromise on tensile strength. Once the cable tie is secured, the tail offcut can be removed and reused with another gripper head in another application, significantly reducing plastic waste and promotes a circular use model.

  • ZZIPT's No Waste Cable Tie design succeeds with delivering on sustainability without compromising on performance. Our seemingly small innovation has a massive environmental impact by utilising millions of redundant plastic trimmings that would otherwise end up in landfill. Beyond its environmental benefits, ZZIPT has seen early commercial success in a variety of different applications within scaffolding and mechanical industries and continues to grow, with potential distributors in Australia eager to take the product to market. By integrating sustainability into the core function, ZZIPT sets a new standard for low-impact, high-utility design.

  • ZZIPT No Waste Cable Ties are currently available in two sizes, with the 4.8mm version offering 25kg tensile strength and the 7.9mm offering 100kg tensile strength. Gripper heads and tails can be purchased separately in refill packs, helping promote a modular and sustainable usage model. The ZZIPT system offers a cleaner, more structured alternative that simplifies assembly while reducing packaging waste. The case features clearly divided compartments for both Gripper heads and cable tie tails, allowing users to store, access, and assemble components quickly and efficiently.
