The Residence of All Purpose

After coming in from the entranceway, we will see that a new entranceway is remodeled from an old-fashioned long balcony. The floor, beside the window, is paved by pebble stones which give rebirth the spatial connection between the outdoor and indoor space. The design of the big windows spills the interior space with daylight, which creates the shining atmosphere. The style in the public area, composed of the living room, dining room, and kitchen, is the same as that at the entranceway, which is decorated in white that creates a simple and clean atmosphere. The wall, behind the couch in the living room, is made by teak wood which found the unaffected image.

The TV wall, in the living room, is streamlining. The U-shape area, between the living room and dining room, ingeniously defines the relations between areas in different mechanisms. When standing on that area, people's attention shall be brought to the painting at the end of the hallway, the space design that brings about the reserved atmosphere.

In the kitchen, the black mirror has made an evident contrast with the white tone in the living room. Meanwhile, the wall surface and showcase, made of teak, has become the medium harmoniously connecting these two space. The design skill, consistent from the public area to the bedrooms and washitsu, makes a bright, simple, and modern residence, without losing the pleasant warm atmosphere required in a sweet home.
