It can be recycled into raw material at the end of its lifespan, making new products, reducing waste and carbon footprint. The product is lightweight, high loading capacity, fast drainage and easy to install.

  • TB22 Interlocking System faces several design challenges due to its innovative 4-way directional locking mechanism, requiring a balance of flexibility and structural integrity. It must endure extreme temperatures from -25°C to 180°C without material deformation or fatigue, while supporting multi-directional movement. The system must also bear heavy loads without compromising performance, all while being the first of its kind globally, requiring extensive research and testing. Additionally, it must allow easy installation and maintenance, utilize sustainable materials, and meet green engineering standards. Overcoming these challenges ensures the TB22 sets a new industry benchmark for durability and adaptability.

  • TB22 design solution helps minimize labour intensive surface preparation and excavation while reducing the overall thickness of sports fields. The innovative spike design securely hooks onto artificial turf, ensuring stability without additional anchoring. With an impressive compressive strength of up to 200 tonnes, it withstands heavy loads and intense usage. Additionally, the system is engineered to expand and contract by approximately 10mm in response to extreme weather conditions, effectively bridging gaps and accommodating movement. This adaptability prevents wrinkles and displacement in artificial turf, enhancing durability and long-term performance in varying climates.

  • The design significantly lowers construction costs for high-performance sports fields by eliminating the need for excessive foundation drainage. Traditionally requiring an 800mm deep build up, this system reduces the depth to just 250-300mm, optimizing material use and labour. It also functions as an efficient drainage and shock absorption layer, enhancing field performance. Additionally, its design effectively restricts artificial turf movement, ensuring long-term stability. Each piece is engineered for independent movement, allowing flexibility in installation and maintenance while maintaining overall field integrity.
