  • The challenge for the design team responsible for the third-generation Nissan Qashqai was to live up to, and exceed, the high standards achieved by the first two generations, while also pushing the design story forward. At the same time, the new model needed to retain the same level of functionality that had made the car such a commercial success. Making a smaller SUV both stylish and functional takes design ingenuity and innovation, both of which helped shape the new Nissan Qashqai.

  • The new Nissan Qashqai is the perfect example of style meeting substance, from its sleek exterior design and premium cabin to its advanced safety equipment and powerful yet efficient engine options. This latest generation is bigger, smarter, safer, and more spacious; everything the modern SUV customer is looking for.

  • The Nissan Qashqai showcases the company’s commitment to great design for the masses. The Qashqai is an affordable and popular model, but Nissan wanted to ensure it featured the highest level of design to make a visual statement on the world around it. Form and function intersect with the new Qashqai, with every element - from safety, quality and commerciality - integrated seamlessly into the design.

  • The new Nissan Qashqai was designed at Nissan’s European Design Studios in London, UK, which is the same studio responsible for the first two generations of the model. It’s part of Nissan’s commitment to drawing on good design from across the world in order to ensure cars have true global appeal. Although unmistakably Qashqai in its styling, the third generation is more muscular, sharp and modern. It takes the design to the next level to ensure the model remains a class-leader in making a visual statement, while also improving on space, practicality and functionality.
