The brief for the Series 3.5 required a complete reimagining of water management and electronic architecture. HSP overcame these limitations by developing a native, low profile system featuring the industry's smallest canister and a six point drainage network, ensuring professional grade performance in extreme global environments.

The Series 3.5 solution centers on native integration rather than secondary fitment. A landmark moment in development was engineering the world's smallest retractable canister at 180mm, achieving maximised bed access. A major roadblock involved overcoming the structural limitations of traditional drainage. HSP solved this by designing a six point water flow system capable of discharging 60 liters per minute. The development journey culminated in an intelligent electronic architecture facilitating over the air updates and five mode operation. This transition from a mechanical cover to a software enabled system defines the Series 3.5 as an integrated vehicle technology.

The HSP Roll R Cover Series 3.5 is the only 100 per cent Australian manufactured electric roller cover, ensuring direct accountability for every engineered component. A primary achievement is the industry smallest canister at only 180mm. When combined with 100 per cent curtain retraction, this allows for total bed access. The side rails are custom contoured to each vehicle's specific geometry, sitting lower than traditional boxed rails to maintain efficiency and a premium factory integrated aesthetic.Security and durability remain paramount. The curtain features interlocking aluminium slats in a Mannix black finish that are impossible to cut through. A specialised motor lock prevents the cover from being forced open. For environmental resilience, a high volume six point drainage system manages up to 60 litres of water per minute.Technological leadership is demonstrated through five modes of operation including the HSP 4x4 app, Siri voice control, factory FOB integration, and a built in smart touchpad.
