  • Competitor movements and the desire to treat more people with Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA) demanded a solution that could be cost competitive yet offer the same cutting edge therapy our patients desire. Satisfying the differing needs of DMEs (Durable Medical Equipment) and their workflows required a scalable platform that could accommodate a variety of users and uses cases today, but also set them up for the future. Going beyond the 'box' we were able to craft a compelling experience that leveraged established digital solutions to create a seamless experience that meets the high expectations our users are looking for.

  • A low-profile sleep solution platform for patients with Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA). Its simple UI and thoughtful architecture has been designed with both first-time and long-term users in mind. To fit a variety of bedroom environments, careful consideration has been given to orientation, ensuring the device always faces the patient. Key interaction touch points are anchored along the center axis with secondary touchpoints only appearing when needed - giving the user guidance when interacting at night. Its simple, calming form uses a darker palette complemented with pops of color for a contemporary character.

  • Sleep apnea can still carry a negative stigma and as a result it continues to go widely undiagnosed. By offering a less intimidating and simpler CPAP solution in the form of DreamStation 2 Philips may help reverse that trend and give many more people a good night's sleep.

  • Efficient setup Get patients started on therapy quickly and efficiently with out-of-the-box, no-touch setup² by accepting the default settings, or remotely personalize using Care Orchestrator. You can also choose the guided, streamlined, low-touch setup on the device. Personalized comfort settings The color touchscreen is designed to be simple to navigate and may help to reduce callbacks and make troubleshooting easier. Comfort settings include Ramp Plus, humidification and heated tube temperature. Ramp Plus The Ramp Plus feature allows patients to set a comfortable starting pressure. Once set, Ramp Plus will be automatically activated for future therapy sessions. Pressure will increase automatically if an event is detected. 12mm micro-flexible heated tubing Philips' smallest diameter tubing is designed to be comfortable while taking up less space than traditional tubing.
