The project challenge for the Can-Am Maverick X3 Max vehicle was to introduce a high end revolutionary and innovative side-by-side vehicle that comfortably seats four large adults to a rapidly evolving and very competitive market by exceeding driver expectations with industry-leading performance, engineering and design.

By starting with the 2-passenger X3 base platform, which already has a dramatically lower center of gravity and class-leading performance and suspension, the design team was able to expand the architecture, offering the best ergonomic layout for four passengers and providing users with the ultimate comfort and stability while giving a proportion and stance like no other in the powersports industry.

The Maverick X3 Max vehicle has taken the market by storm, delivering the aggressive looks and performance demanded by today’s customers. Power-to-weight ratio is key and that is why the Rotax inline triple engine has been turbo charged to get the most powerful and efficient small displacement engine in the industry. Its 172 HP gives the X3 model the ability to accelerate 0-60 mph in less than 5 seconds. Its superior dynamics provides it with the ability to handle any terrain at high speeds, thanks to its massive suspension travel of 22” in the front and 24” in the rear.

Customers not only demand aggressive looks and a bold design statement that stands out from the crowd, as the Can-Am Maverick X3 Max vehicle obviously delivers, but they want to be able to personalize their side-by-side vehicle. The Maverick X3 Max model comes with a vast line of accessories to personalize each vehicle.
