  • Pure, linear designs epitomise modern living and today's lifestyle. Unmistakable aesthetics captivate the imagination of architects and interior designers alike. Timeless elegance, injecting lifestyle into rooms and turning the kitchen into a design masterpiece. Miele's product designers have brought this vision to life: Miele ArtLine is the first Designer range of built-in kitchen appliances for completely flush installation.

  • Since, technically, the ArtLine series is based on Miele's current Generation 6000 of built-in appliances which comprises many different products, we have intentionally refrained from listing any model-specific functional details here.

  • Since, technically, the ArtLine series is based on Miele's current Generation 6000 of built-in appliances which comprises many different products, we have intentionally refrained from listing any model-specific safety features here.

  • Made by Miele in Germany, the ArtLine series of built-in appliances is designed and tested for a useful product life of 20 years under normal household use. The fact that Miele products are used longer in the home than other brands before being resold or disposed of due to a defect was validated in a 2006 study performed by the German consumer research organisation GfK: according to this study, new Miele appliances remained in use after their initial purchase for an average of 17.0 years, whilst the average useful life of other brands was only 13.7 years.

Given their superior technology and long life expectancy, the initial investment in this latest range of Miele built-in cooking appliances does represent outstanding value for money in the long term. In view of the fact that the well-established range of Miele Generation 6000 cooking appliances has already proven its commercial viability on international markets, as well as in Australia, for many years, Miele is confident of also achieving a positive return on the investment for these latest models.

Technically, ArtLine models are based on current Miele built-in appliances - with one significant difference: The function of the handle on a conventional model is assumed by a sensor integrated into the fascia panel (Touch2open). Gently touching this sensor opens the motor-assisted door, damping its action as it reaches the fully open position. Customers can choose between two ArtLine versions: Price-entry models feature Miele's DirectSensor controls whilst top-of-the-range offerings boast an M Touch display which is reminiscent of a smartphone in the way it interacts with its user and also offers a practical search function for automatic programmes. Both versions are entirely without control knobs.
