  • Warehouse workers use wearable computers throughout their shifts, so ergonomics and comfort are crucial. The device must be compact and balanced while worn on the arm. A comfortable, stable mounting solution is needed to secure it. The physical interface needs to accommodate thick freezer gloves to allow use of all keys/buttons. Additionally, it needs to withstand tough environments while remaining compact and comfortable. Some tasks require manual entry, for which external keypads are often used, but this can compromise ergonomics as devices become too long with external keypads, and for right/left-hand users the keypad position is not the same.

  • The WT6400 features a 22-degree angled camera, guiding users to wear the device at a tilted angle, which helps distribute weight and enhance user comfort. Its tilted display improves viewing and photo shooting angles. Three wrist strap options—Velcro, single or double dial—ensure a customized fit for all users, enhancing comfort and usability. An integrated keypad positioned under the display accommodates both right and left-handed users, enhancing flexibility for manual data entry tasks. Optimized key size, shape, and spacing enable easy operation, even with thick freezer gloves, promoting efficiency and user satisfaction.

The integrated keypad, supporting both-handed users, requires no additional accessories.   • The WT6400 boasts an easily removable battery, facilitating seamless swaps even with heavy gloves, thanks to its dual buttons. Its resilient green bezel not only withstands potential drops or bumps at work but also ensures easy visibility in dim environments due to its vibrant color. To enhance work efficiency, the display size and keypad has been enlarged while keeping the overall device size minimal to maintain the best ergonomic. The Wrist mount is molded with soft material to provide best comfort, and the device can be quickly detach/attach by pressing one button.
