The Titan is the first mattress designed to specifically meet the varying needs of the individual. Customers can trial the mattress for up to 100 nights and adjust its comfort through a series of feel and firmness changes in order to achieve their most restful night’s sleep. Rather than releasing multiple products or versions, we put all efforts are put into continuously researching and implementing improvements to the product. Since its inception, the Titan has undergone over 40 changes to various aspects of its usability, comfort and support. At a fraction of the average industry price and backed by a 10 year warranty, the Titan combines quality, innovation and value.

  • Whilst on a basic level, the Titan offers two firmness choices ─ soft-medium and medium-firm, the mattress can be customised to be as soft or firm as the customer requires. The Titan's modular design consists of a layer of high resiliency foam which controls its firmness as well as a combination of latex (which has an elastic/ firmer feel) and memory foam (which creates a softer/ sinking feeling). Should the customer require a softer surface, they're able to easily unzip the mattress hood and flip the layer of memory foam above the latex. For further customisation, we can replace the high resiliency foam for a foam with a different firmness.

  • The Titan's surface is intended to provide the optimum comfort level for falling asleep and staying asleep. The combination of memory foam and latex assist in dissipating sleeping pressure points improving blood circulation through the night. To improve temperature regulation in the mattress all foams are manufactured with a porous open cell structure. The memory foam is also infused with a cooling gel to slow transfer of heat from the body and surrounding environment to the mattress.

  • The Titan's core has a five-zone pocketed spring support structure. It has been designed to provide targeted support for the varying curves, edges and densities of the human body. The lumbar region is made firmer to offer extra support for back sleepers, whilst the shoulder and hip regions are made softer to relieve pressure and tension for side sleepers. The edge of the mattress is reinforced with a higher-gauged steel so that the individual can sleep to the very edge of the mattress and still be fully supported.

  • The Titan consists of high-density polyurethane foams which are CertiPUR-US certified ─ this means the foams have been independently tested to verify they are made without mercury, lead, heavy metals, PBDE flame retardants, ozone depleters and other nasties which impact durability and diminish air quality.

    Sleeping Duck has invested in state-of-the-art technology to compress and vacuum seal the mattress to an impressive one fifth of its size without compromising the integrity of the design ─ making it a very efficient way to transport a large product on a national and international scale. All materials selected are subject to rigorous testing including compression tests of 1400N of force applied 30,000 times to simulate 10-year use. At the end of each production cycle, samples are compressed, vacuum-sealed and stored in packaging for one, three and six months. Once unpacked the mattresses undergo compression testing to verify the integrity of the design remains.

    The sleek, bold aesthetic of the Titan supports the promise of a high-quality, innovative product.
