The landscape around mental health is not making conversations inviting to have and has many misconceptions. TradeMutt works on educating the trade community on the importance of taking care of your mental health and raising awareness that it is ok to seek support.

Born from the idea of a colourful workshirt sparking conversations on the job site, TradeMutt thrives on the philosophy of using its vibrant designs to initiate discussions about mental health in a lighthearted and approachable way. Recognising the need for accessible professional support within the blue-collar community, TradeMutt’s co-founders leveraged the success of their funky shirts to establish TIACS (This Is A Conversation Starter). This non-profit organisation provides free text and call counseling specifically targeted towards blue-collar workers, bridging the gap between awareness and accessible support. TradeMutt donates 50% of profits to TIACS to fund free mental health counseling services.

TradeMutt prioritizes environmental sustainability with dedicated practices across its operations, from using recycled materials in manufacturing to carbon-neutral shipping. This commitment minimises our environmental footprint while supporting meaningful social impact. Through TradeMutt’s funding, TIACS has offered life-changing support to over 4,600 individuals, providing over 4000 hours of conversations through TIACS support service. This translates to over $830,000 in equivalent market value. With TradeMutt’s consistent growth, TIACS’s critical services will continue to expand, ensuring ongoing mental health support for the blue-collar community.
