  • Outdoor living has evolved beyond camping. People now dine, gather, attend events and spend extended periods outside, yet most portable seating remains designed around short-term utility rather than long-term comfort or everyday use.The challenge was to define a new category of outdoor chair for these moments. It needed to feel refined, not temporary; portable, not compromised; durable, not disposable; and comfortable enough to support both upright and relaxed use across a range of outdoor settings.

  • The Daymaker is a portable furniture system built around a precisely engineered double-pivot mechanism, allowing the chair to fold compactly while retaining dining-height proportions and ergonomic support.A considered recline function introduces a second mode of use, enabling a shift from upright dining to relaxed lounging.Padded fabric seat and backrest covers can be removed for cleaning, repair or replacement, extending product life. Integrated storage pockets and an accessory ecosystem broaden use across outdoor occasions. Refined detailing, including tapered legs and restrained geometry, draws from interior furniture to elevate its visual presence.

  • Common Tiger shifts outdoor seating from temporary equipment to long-term, adaptable furniture.Environmentally, replaceable padded covers extend product life and reduce waste. Socially, dining-height ergonomics and a reclined mode support more inclusive and prolonged outdoor use.Commercially, the chair establishes a platform for accessories and replacement components, increasing engagement and longevity.By aligning outdoor products with the expectations of interior furniture, Common Tiger redefines user behaviour and sets a new benchmark for comfort, versatility and responsibility in outdoor seating.

  • New Outdoor Archetype:Defines a category between camping equipment and domestic furniture.Double-Pivot Mechanism with Recline:Enables compact folding while delivering integrated lower-back support and a transition between upright dining and relaxed lounging positions.Dining-Height Ergonomics:Supports outdoor dining and easier entry and exit across a broader demographic, particularly for extended periods of use.Replaceable Padded Covers:Seat and backrest covers can be removed for cleaning, repair or replacement, extending product life and reducing waste.Accessory Ecosystem:Integrated connection ports within the armrests, backrest and beneath the seat allow the chair to evolve over time through attachable accessories including shade sails, headrests and storage modules. The system has been intentionally designed for future expansion, enabling new accessories and use cases without redesigning the core product. This transforms the chair from a standalone object into an adaptable outdoor platform.Integrated Storage:Discreet pockets provide secure storage for phones, tablets and personal items during outdoor use.Interior-Inspired Aesthetic:Tapered legs and restrained detailing reference furniture rather than conventional outdoor equipment.
