The TC51/56 has been designed with clean lines and minimal styling to allow for a small form factor, elegant design with minimal dirt traps. The TC51-HC is specifically designed for healthcare. Its housings are made from PPSU material to help prevent the spread of bacteria and allow for safe wipe-downs with a wide selection of disinfectants used in hospitals. Healthcare specific design details include careful attention to removing crevices and dirt traps in the healthcare specific housings.

Customers can create unique dedicated keys on either side of the display for one-touch access to the most frequently used device features and applications, from the scanner, camera and line-of-business applications to telephony features such as push-to-talk and text messaging.
