Small but Mighty, Our Single To Double Pram

As with all Edwards & Co products our brief was to provide parents with a smoother ride. We are not interested in promoting a double that can do 20 different configurations if you get stuck at the car trying to fold it, or making it so heavy it is hard to steer and difficult to use. We wanted to create a high quality double stroller that was lightweight, compact and ergonomic, without the premium price tag. Additionally we wanted to make more conscious choices in our development through reviewing materials and processes, limiting our impact on the environment.

It took Mark, our designer 3 years to create Olive based on his experience with his own children. The Olive is the smallest folded double stroller on the market in Australasia, and exceeds the AS/NZ durability standards; it's super strong and will last the distance whilst retaining the beautiful design aesthetic the brand is recognised for. Whilst we managed to create a compact and durable product it can also hold a whooping 54kgs making it future proof for growing families. Easy to manoeuvre and fit into your car boot, Olive makes busy lives easier at an affordable price.

We’ve been able to create a product that allows both children to have the luxury and comfort of full size seats, without compromising on space, size or durability. Beyond the extensive high quality product features and functionality we have focused on the longevity of our products, introducing recycled fabrics, new dyeing techniques and eco-friendly materials. The Olive allows customers to reuse the Carry Cots and Capsules from first borns to clip into the new frame. The high quality, durability and adaptability ensures a long life, which can be passed on when one family is finished and another just beginning.

Olive has a 54kg weight capacity; 22kgs per seat and a further 10kg capacity in the basket. The Memory Adapter system makes removing the seats and changing the configuration super easy, even single handed. Upper Adapters are included with the Olive, providing the extra space for adding your second seat. When using as a single you can also use the Capsule, Carry Cot or main seat with the Upper Adapters to get extra height. The canopies on both seats offer UPF50+ protection and are designed to ensure maximum coverage from the elements whilst allowing for ventilation with mesh windows. Along with the main seat and second seat kit, the Olive can be used with our Avery capsule and Carry Cot making it suitable for newborns through to 22kgs (roughly 4years of age). The flexibility to change configurations makes this suitable for twins, one child or children of different ages.
