Indoor vegetable growing devices are often met with issues that prevent them being a household staple appliance: 1 - amount of growth not being enough for realistic food consumption, 2 - growth speed, 3 - unconsidered hardware design allowing large, unruly plants and bright grow lighting to dominate living spaces and 4 - harvesting and moving offcuts to cooking areas without mess. Some indoor gardens require addition and constant monitoring of hydroponic nutrients, or adjusting light fixtures and manually checking water levels. The biggest limitation of all is biology - Roto Farm was aimed at providing the best possible environment for plants to thrive indoors.

The circular growing circumference is 3x longer than Roto Farm's small width of only 0.56 m and fits separate 9 Plant Pads. Plants don't grow in a circle or upside down - constant rotation is required to confuse a plant's geotropism and keep them upright at all times. Constant rotation moves water around the Plant Pad and continually re-oxygenates plant roots, rarely seen in nature. Strong agricultural lighting and built-in nutrients, along with fan forced air movement provides a fast-growth indoor environment. Facing the grow light backwards allowed the walls of Roto Farm to block light spilling into a home environment.

Fresh home-grown produce free from GMOs and pesticides, expiry dates or refrigeration. Roto Farm is ultra easy-to-use with no buttons and one-step planting. Plant Pads are automatically watered through a gravity-fed watering system with no noisy pump, controlled with an onboard CPU that conserves water usage. When water runs low, the grow lights occasionally blink to notify you. An incredibly compact design neatly contains plants and light, with a large removable 5 litre water tank concealed at the rear. An 8 degree tilt enhances access and visibility of your herbs and vegetables at close distance. Roto Farm's zero-gravity rotation system is silent and high-torque (enough to lift heavy plants). The large rotating carousel is formed out of a single part with 18 insert-moulded magnetic elements allowing effortless removal of up to 9 Plant Pads to your cooking area, and reattachment for continued growth.
