The existing construction procurement process is an archaic mix of more than 15 disjointed processes across Excel, Word, countless emails, and shared drives. This manual, decentralised approach lacks control and visibility, resulting in substantial time and revenue loss due to cumbersome administrative tasks. Our aim was to streamline and digitise the process into a comprehensive digital platform, consolidating all procurement activity and relevant documents into a powerful, comprehensive digital platform. We wanted to vastly increase procurement efficiency and provide construction executives with unprecedented visibility and insights to make profitable, data-driven procurement decisions.

ProcurePro consolidates complex procurement workflows into a central digital platform, accommodating multiple user types and their processes. We mapped the ‘old way’ of procurement to identify gaps and capability opportunities, with the involvement of construction experts to deliver an intuitive, user experience to a historically under-digitised industry. The integration of familiar systems was a key inflection point for ProcurePro’s adoption, bringing together Excel, Word and trusted processes into a singular location. We built digital modules for procurement schedules, Scope of Works creation, subcontractor selection, contracting and reporting, to create an end-to-end, online procurement process.

ProcurePro is used by 80+ head contractors, powering more than $30 billion in construction across Australia, New Zealand and the UK. The system is a leader within its space, incorporating all necessary aspects of procurement into a streamlined, intuitive system. ProcurePro is proven to reduce procurement time by >50%, removing unnecessary admin and improving accuracy and precision. The system reduces risks associated with procurement, limiting manual data input and ensuring accurate Scope of Works documents and contractual agreements. The reporting functionality also provides real-time, accessible insights to management teams to make proactive data-driven decisions and swiftly identify arising procurement issues.

Procurement Schedule - Provides a consolidated home for all procurement progress and activity information, live-updating milestone management and tracking, and effective risk identification and mitigation of trades. Scope Library - Centralises all scope content into company-wide and project-specific libraries, enabling knowledge sharing and significantly reducing the risk of gaps and costly project disputes. Vendor Selection & Price Breakdown - Provides apples-for-apples (fair and equal) comparison of subcontractors, giving users full visibility of vendor activity and histories, consistent quote formats, and approval workflows to markedly speed up the process. Contract Generation Module - Enables a click-to-generate process for contracts, with full oversight and streamlining of the approval workflow reducing delays to signing. eSignatures result in much faster signature gathering, reducing the risk of project delays.
