Nog. Simplifying Garage Door Installations

Nog. is a range of droppers that support the garage door and the motor from the ceiling. Every garage door is specifically made for each application - every home has unique features and constraints. Some of the biggest issues onsite relate to the reliance of a builder installing Nogs (timber) inside the ceiling for the garage door to be supportedKey variables that the product needed to address include:- Garage ceiling heights variability- Door weights- Building Regulations and general construction methodologies in different geographies- Varied garage door manufacturer specifications - Reliability of builders installing supports where needed.

The product started with NoNog. - a product that didn't rely on timber supports within the ceiling. We felt the product - whilst meeting the challenge - was changing the process of installation, and so created the Nog.Dropper - which provided a flexible and efficient solution without altering existing installation processes.Nog.Hanger was developed to assist builders in compliance of Noggin installation. A key moment in the process of this product was exhibiting at the International Door Association Expo in Las Vegas - April 2026. We received amazing feedback from an international audience - cementing our own belief of a need for the product.

This project applies to the garage door industry on a global scale. Every country in the world can utilise this product range. Our product has global application. Its flexible approach and variety of products means it can be adopted in any country that use sectional or tilt garage doors. There is currently no other product on the market that has been designed to meet this application. The current method for supports from the ceiling is for the installers to complete a time consuming and ugly mecano like structure to support the doors and openers. Our industry currently relies on builders and garage door installers to use their gut instinct on if the supports installed will be adequate for the loads provided.Key features include: - No cutting required onsite (less mess and safer) - Flexibility for varying ceiling heights - meaning one product to suit all applications. - First product to directly address the use case for the - Engineered system that is designed to support the load.
