OneApp is an agnostic solution designed to mobilise a company’s forms and content. It works offline, from any smart device or tablet. Data from forms syncs back directly to any ERP/backend data source. The data is then available for business intelligence and analytics. The result is standardised data, leaner processes, reduced transaction costs and improved productivity.

  • MORE
  • Does the design convey the function and use unambiguously and intuitively? OneApp has categories representing business functions or user groups, for example HSE or Supervisors. Forms are available in each category and easily accessible. The forms can be simple (small/one page) or complex (large, multiple pages). Mobile forms are intuitive as a result of being on a device. Forms are designed according to business requirements. The app/forms design is consistent on any device and any version of device. Native features on devices, such as GPS Navigation, Image Capture and Notifications are features available within the form/app. Forms are submitted directly to ERPs.

  • Does the design advance the user experience? OneApp enriches the user experience. Forms are always available on user's device. The user experience is enhanced with 'native' apps. Native (by design) is modern and faster than HTML5/CSS3 technologies. If devices are offline, forms are saved in a pending queue and submitted when connectivity is reached. Users can save forms as 'draft' and complete later. The data on forms is sent directly to company's ERP/back-end/Document management systems. User experience on a mobile form is advanced from a productivity perspective, as well as data capture and reporting. User's time is not wasted printing, scanning, filling and administering paperwork.

  • Does the design use technology in a clever way? OneApp technology requires no coding/programming knowledge. Apps are created once and deployed on any mobile platform (iOS, Android or Windows). Ready-made templates (Operations, L&D, HR, HSE) and media gallery (icons)assist creation of OneApp. Out of the box 'drag and drop' controls complete the forms' functionalities.Any field in forms adopts properties, actions/triggers, bindings, mappings and permissions and aligns to company business logic. OneApp adopts camera (with annotation) and signature panel. The extensible connector framework connects and integrates the app to ERPs. Apps are uploaded via QR Code or through Miracle Studio. Notifications can be pushed through OneApp to users.

  • Has the design been professionally executed and finished? OneApp can be deployed in any industry and is successfully deployed in the construction industry. Existing paper and electronic forms have been converted to mobile, accessed and used by employees within the construction company. OneApp is built for purpose, developed professionally with the end-user in mind. User experience is enhanced via native functionalities of any device. User interface is intuitive. OneApp is contemporary and adopts corporate branding of any company. A company's existing forms are seamlessly transitioned to mobile via the Miracle Studio. Company forms are rationalised and redundant forms are eliminated as a result of OneApp.

Is the design likely to result in a return on the investment made on design? OneApp connects directly to ERPs and results in improved efficiency and performance for companies. There is much better user experience. OneApp reduces transaction costs, leans out processes and increases productivity. The business case is strong. A paper form costs $20-$250 (paper, ink, printer availability, processing and filing, storing and retrieving). The construction company, via OneApp, uploaded over 50,000 forms to the document management systems and saved $1M ($20 x 50,000). A further $6M was saved in corporate services function over a three year period. Productivity gains and efficiency were achieved from reducing administration associated with manual processing of documentation.
