Distinguished by Miele's exclusive Smart Navigation System, it systematically navigates the home delivering thorough cleaning with outstanding precision. The unique combination of a roof-mapping camera, gyro sensor, electronics and innovative software effectively navigates the unit. The indoor positioning system cleverly maps out the home to chart a course for the most intelligent cleaning journey ensuring it never misses a spot! The smart Scout RX1 benefits from seven infra-red sensors that scan 180° at the front to avoid collisions and a further three sensors beneath the unit to prevent it falling off steps.

A Triple Cleaning System (sweeps, brushes & vacuums) provides effective cleaning; two long rotating side brushes target difficult areas along the walls of rooms or along items of furniture and sweep dirt towards the centre of the unit. Once there, a removable roller brush picks up coarser particles and in the third stage, a fan transports the dust into a dust box. This container has a capacity of 0.6 litres and is very easy to remove, while the AirClean filter ensures clean ambient air.

The powerful lithium-ion battery sets new standards for robot vacuum cleaners. The RX1 operates for up to 120 minutes with a single battery charge. It can clean up to 150 m². The service life is exceptional: even after 300 charging cycles, it generates the same power it did as it was new. And it lasts longer than conventional batteries.

The Scout RX1 offers four cleaning modes. In Auto Mode, the unit autonomously accesses all required areas and charges itself when necessary. Minor spills and dinner crumbs can be quickly removed within a specified 1.5 m x 1.5 m area using Spot Mode. Should the home require a more thorough clean, the Corner Mode cleans difficult-to-access corners a second time, while the Turbo Mode removes dust, dirt and pet hair in half the time, ideal when only a quick clean-up is required. Activation and selection of the cleaning modes is amazingly simple using the Scout RX1's touch user interface or the accompanying remote control. Users can even set a timer for automatic cleaning at any time of day.

Incredibly sleek and compact at only 8.9cm high, the Scout RX1 guarantees Miele's signature level of hygiene. The compact design ensures that the unit can easily reach difficult-to-access areas such as under furniture or staircases. The two-stage AirClean filters ensure room air is perfectly purified after vacuuming, while the practical 0.6 Litre capacity dirt storage is incredibly easy to empty. Furthermore, the Scout RX1 can effortless negotiate height differences up to 2 cm high making it ideal for rooms with different types of floor coverings.
