  • MORE
  • Hospitality and retail businesses needed a POS stand that could anchor to a counter and move with service, without sacrificing security, charging infrastructure or visual impact. Existing fixed solutions could not move. Portable alternatives compromised on finish, cable control and security. Proprietary POS solutions are often well designed and subsidised by transaction fees, making vendor lock-in easy to overlook. The brief required all of these capabilities in a single, brand-agnostic product, at a price point accessible to independent businesses, without any single feature undermining the rest.

  • Tablet stands sit at the centre of the service interaction, yet most are designed around the owner's security concerns rather than the staff member's or customer's experience. The industry default places the lock behind the tablet, invisible to staff, visible to the customer, and awkward during service. Achieving a user-facing lock position without compromising angle adjustability required the locking mechanism to be redesigned around the core mechanical requirements. Cable routing presented a similar moment: a retractable system proved too bulky, so a channel solution was built into the puck. Simpler, and precise across compatible tablet widths.

  • The Link gives hospitality and retail businesses a tool that adapts when the floor demands it, reducing service congestion and extending professional POS capability beyond the fixed counter. Priced at least 30% below comparable competitors, it brings design-led hardware within reach of independent venues and smaller retailers. As a Melbourne-born business shaped by a city that takes hospitality and design seriously, Bosstab built the Link to reflect that standard. Built to be universal, the Link grows with the business: through device upgrades, venue expansions, and the natural evolution of how a space runs.

  • A lock designed for the person using it, not just the person who owns it - A user-facing flush button and security slider sit at the base of the stand, accessible one-handed in low-light conditions and invisible to the customer. Three modes control whether the button is active, disabled, or bypassed entirely. In fully locked mode, a magnetic key is required to change the setting.Cable channels that solve universality without compromise - Four physically distinct channels moulded into the puck shorten exposed cable length across the full 8 to 13 inch range. No loose cable, no adjustment, no device-specific accessories required.Contact charging with positional tolerance built in - Up to 30W of pass-through power delivered via contact points when docked. The puck's rounded square form constrains docking to four 90-degree orientations, all of which charge consistently. One stand, three mounting configurations - Freestanding, adhesive and screw-mount, all from the same stand body. Reconfigurable after installation without replacing the unit.Built for the commercial environment - Die-cast aluminium construction delivers the weight, rigidity and tactility expected in a professional setting. The puck uses ABS with a TPU grip, keeping the handheld element light and comfortable across a full shift.
