Lawlux: A Human-AI Interface Removing Barriers to High-Quality Legal Services

Lawlux is a world-first software application, which leverages an AI LLM. Lawlux’s proprietary LLM builds on IBM’s watsonx legal product workflows and has been trained using Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and fine-tuning techniques. Lawlux has streamlined the previously inefficient, human dependent middle-office, through integration of bespoke onboarding workflows and in-house document and advice generation software. To compliment this landmark technology, Symplicit and Lawlux developed an intuitive, user-friendly human-AI interface. The UI leverages both chat and form styled components to ease navigation and offer seamless interactions. Lawlux chat also utilises human speech techniques, understanding questions, syntax, humour, and nuance to establish trust.
