  • The challenge was to create a sink that not only met the highest standards of functionality and aesthetic appeal but also addressed the pressing issue of waste management. Balancing sustainability with design excellence required innovative thinking and a deep understanding of materials and manufacturing processes.

  • The KOHLER WasteLAB has developed an innovative method to repurpose vitreous/ceramic and cast iron waste, transforming formerly discarded materials into functional and aesthetically pleasing bathroom fixtures. Crafted from over 70% recycled materials, the WasteLAB Vox Sink represents a technological advancement in sustainable design and manufacturing processes in the Kitchen & Bath industry. Its soft minimalist form and stone-like aesthetic, reminiscent of natural granite, elevates the concept of eco-friendly design, proving that sustainability and high design can coexist harmoniously.
