  • CHALLENGE
  • SOLUTION
  • IMPACT
  • For the collaboration between Greg Natale and Kaolin Porcelain Surfaces in creating the ”Dimora” collection, the challenge was to blend artistic expression with high functionality in porcelain tile manufacturing. The goal was to achieve a luxurious aesthetic that mirrors natural materials like marble and complex fabrications with brass, copper, and metal, while eliminating their associated maintenance and costs yet maintaining their sophisticated look and quality

  • The solution developed by Greg Natale and Kaolin involved the creation of the Villa, Grotta, and Casa collections. These utilized advanced technologies such as the patented Endless Vein 2.0 to create seamless vein transitions in tiles and innovative techniques to embed metallic inlays directly into porcelain, bypassing the need for costly and labour-intensive traditional methods. This approach pushed the boundaries of what is possible in interior design, product design, and porcelain tile manufacturing.

  • The impact of the ”Dimora” collection has been significant in setting new standards in the porcelain tile industry. The collection not only offers an environmentally friendly alternative to natural stone but also expands the design possibilities within architectural spaces through its innovative and sustainable approach. This has redefined the boundaries of what is possible in interior design, product design, and porcelain tile manufacturing.
