JURA Z10 Automatic Coffee Machine

With the cold brew coffee trend growing, JURA's designers took on the challenge to design the first machine with the ability to produce both hot and cold coffee specialities in the one machine, without compromising on coffee quality or taste. Traditionally cold brew specialities are prepared at reputable cafés and require specialist equpment. Typically, a cold brew beverage would be prepared up to 24 hours in advance, to allow every nuance of aroma to be extracted from the coffee when using cold water.

It's not as simple as preparing an espresso and adding ice. The designers created the Product Recognising Grinder (P.R.G), which recognises the type of coffee selected and in a fraction of a second, adjusts the grind cone to finer or coarser coffee powder to produce a hot versus cold beverage. Anything less would just be cold coffee. In addition, JURA has developed the pioneering Cold Extraction Process where cold water (from the tank) is slowly pulsed through the coffee under high pressure. The result is a completely new way of experiencing coffee - refreshing, energising and with a wonderfully balanced aroma.

The new JURA Z10 eliminates the need for multiple coffee making equipment. At the touch of a button it prepares the full spectrum of hot drinks as well as a whole new dimension in the enjoyment of coffee with the introduction of cold brew specialities. Now this one product can address the needs of a wider audience. Those that drink mainly hot coffee, but prefer a cold coffee during warmer months. Or, those who predominantly drink cold brew (due to the reduction of caffeine), but like to offer a hot coffee to their guests.
