  • The Braemar Invertair inverter add-on cooler is Australia's first and only TRUE inverter integrated cooling system, offering consumers refrigerated cooling in conjunction with their gas heating using the same ductwork and grilles. Consumers can cool up to four different zones at different temperatures. It's compact and economical to run and provides a range of benefits over conventional start/stop systems: - Significantly lower running costs - Quickly and efficiently adjusts the room temperature to your settings - Elimination of temperature fluctuations - Greatly reduced system noise - 4 models from 556 to 861 L/s and 10kw to 16kw capacity.

  • Australia's first and only true Invertair inverter add-on cooler has variable cooling capacity to match the load: - 10 kW model varies from 3.2 to 11.0 kW - 12 kW model varies from 4.0 to 13.5 kW - 13.7 kW model varies from 6.0 to 14.5 kW - 16.0 kW model varies from 6.4 to 17.0 kW as opposed to a fixed speed motor which is either on or off and swings in temperature.

  • An “inverter” is a power conversion circuit that electronically regulates the voltage, current and frequency of products such as air conditioners. This circuit controls the compressor and, therefore, the air conditioner's output. Raising the frequency increases the output, while lowering the frequency reduces it. In this way, The Braemar Invertair inverter add-on cooler provides much finer temperature control than conventional models can. The Braemar Invertair add-on cooler offers accurate cooling control as close as ± ½˚ which is far more precise than the ±2˚ you would experience with a fixed speed motor device.

  • Outdoor noise is minimized by the variable compressor and fan motors, as the day cools down the outdoor unit becomes quieter reducing annoying running sounds and minimising noise pollution to neighbours.

The Invertair add-on cooler features a 'soft' start-up which means that no large electrical load is required when the unit is switched on, as opposed to the usual large load experienced when a fixed speed unit is turned on. Another energy saving feature of this system is that the target cooling point is set by the wall control, the inverter control system registers this adjustable set point and compares it with the room temperature to determine the capacity required, rather than the cooling set point being factory set and not adjustable by the home owner. This allows the unit to run at optimum efficiency determined by the actual conditions inside the dwelling.
