Rearward facing is the safest way for babies and young children to travel in the car. Grandeur allows for extended rearward facing from birth through to a large 30 month old (Type A4 Rating), this is the highest possible rating for extended rear facing allowed in Australia.

Larger children are safest in an in-built 6 point child restraint harness. In forward facing mode, Grandeur is a Type G restraint, which means it's used with the in-built harness right through to a large 8 year old, this category of child restraint enables a child up to 8 years of age to be afforded the greatest level of protection allowed in Australia.

Secur-air™ works hand in hand with Air Cocoon Technology to dramatically reduce crash energy to the child's head. Grandeur comes with ACT (air cocoon technology) as a standard feature, which alone reduces crash energy to the child more than five times lower than the level required by the 2013 Australian Standard. With the addition of Secur-air™, your seat gains a third layer of protection for your child's head area, making it the safest seat Infasecure has produced to date. It achieves this by implementing a controlled crumble zone of strategically placed domes achieving the best possible protection for the infant occupant.

Grandeur comes complete with Twist & Lift™ which allows one-handed adjustment of the headrest and harness from the front of the seat. No rethreading straps, no uninstalling - dramatically increasing the parent's ability to achieve the perfect fit for their child in seconds.

Our new active fabric seat covers are designed in Australia for tough Australian weather conditions. Its stain-resistant nature suits active families and its easy-care properties make it completely machine-washable. The engineered weave is designed to help keep the infant occupant cooler in the car through wicking and increased breathability.

Grandeur measures an extremely narrow 44cm at its widest point, making it Australia's narrowest Type G child restraint in forward facing mode, meaning that you would be able to fit three restraints across the rear seat of most family cars, through clever ergonomic design it also has the same internal width as Infasecure's current Type G child restraint.
