Designers achieved absolute minimum thickness by sculpting the all-metal chassis with CNC and using a hidden hinge that tucks away in the body of the notebook. Compared to its predecessor, the new Spectre 13 notebook is 16mm narrower in width and 5mm shorter in length. But users don't have to compromise. HP’s thinnest and lightest laptop now packs even more performance in a 10.4 mm chassis. In fact, the new Spectre 13 features a narrow border display with touch functionality, powered by Intel’s latest 8th gen quad core CPU.

In a sea of silver aluminum notebooks, the HP Spectre 13 is striking in its unconventional beauty. The first version is a warm ash silver with dark carbon fiber base & polished copper back. Inspired by fine jewelry and watchmakers, the keyboard deck has a sleek luminous metallic finish. The Bang & Olufsen speakers have been machined in a delicate lacelike pattern. The second version personifies light, airy design. The beautiful white notebook is achieved using an advanced Electric Decoration with stronger scratch resistance. The cover is accented with diamond cut pale gold features and includes a full size backlit white keyboard.
