  • People are aspirational. We dream of lives we may never live, and imagine better futures within our reach. HP Design considered how we make an affordable machine fit these aspirational hopes, how we signal premium experiences and goals, through material choice and manufacturing techniques.

  • The computer is a necessity. A whole generation has grown up with always-on access to technology. They expect to have instant access to news, entertainment, and notifcations at the touch of a screen. People rely on their computers much more since work-from-home began. Having an immersive screen, a large trackpad, and a shape that both makes it easy to open the machine and lift and elevate the computer for improved ergonomics makes the HP Pavilion the ideal affordable machine.

  • As one of the world's most sustainable companies, HP continues to innovate with sustainable materials that create long-lasting, positive change for our planet, the people and their communities. By using renewable materials in the HP Pavilion 13, we expect to save over 1,200kg on CO2 emission reductions according to our volume production. In addition, the HP Pavilion 13 uses sustainably sourced and recyclable packaging with molded fiber cushions, replacing plastic foam cushions. This will help HP progress to its goal of eliminating 75% of single use plastic in packaging by 2025.

  • The 4K UHD panel is impressive considering that the Pavilion 13 is a budget-oriented laptop. The trackpad is large, matching the 16:10 screen aspect ratio. Equipped with USB-C, HDMI, and hinged drop-jaw USB-A ports because the USB-A port is thicker than the thinness of the machine itself.
