Guardian Generation 3 detects drowsiness, evaluated against the Karolinka Sleepiness Scale (KSS) and tracks a driver’s eyes for distraction related events such as cell phone use. These are fundamental to driver monitoring systems and our algorithms are industry leading. A range of new physical features now available with Guardian Generation 3 also set it apart as a leading safety system. These include camera/lens assembly, colour Organic Light Emitting Diode (OLED) display for improved image quality, ambient light sensor, indicator light bar for driver awareness, infrared LEDs and reflector assembly, custom speaker assembly, dual microphones, record buttons and the processor module. Quite unique in the market, our services consist of the 24/7 Guardian Centre and Guardian Live dashboard, providing operators with real-time oversight of their fleets so they can manage their operations as events take place. Our analysts are there to classify events within minutes and ensure the technology is operating as it should be. If a driver is drowsy, our 24/7 service alerts the operator, and they intervene according to their own company policies. It’s effective and coupled with real-time technology in the cabin, has been proven to reduce fatigue related driving events by more than 94%.
