  • IMPACT
  • Integral to the brief was the balance between the global brand experience and localised design. The floorplate consolidation united the previously disconnected team into a ‘destination hub’ workspace designed to accelerate business and support the team in a flexible hybrid work environment that evolves as requirements adapt. A focus on wellness drove the integration of neurodiverse and inclusive design which adhered to the stringent health and safety guidelines which set GSK apart from their competitors. The data-driven solution offers dynamic ‘habitats’ to drive culture and collaboration to create a sense of place and attract the team back to the office.

  • In collaboration with GSK’s internal strategy team utilising global guidelines to calculate space requirements, the design team utilised staff survey data to optimize space for low occupancy, ensuring seamless connection and equitable experiences. The office design features a concierge-style front of house for a welcoming ’destination’ experience, enhanced by soft-seating, natural timbers, neutral colours, a living green wall, and biophilia, all under circadian lighting to emphasize a hospitality ambiance. Throughout the project, strict adherence to GSK’s extensive Occupational Health & Safety (OH&S) strategies was maintained to promote a safe and healthy environment, prioritizing wellbeing.

  • Gathering insights from a workplace strategy ensured a tailored solution to meet the vision and brief. By prioritising what makes GSK great; their people and culture, the workspace supports the diverse teams’ preferences and flexes to accommodate evolving business needs. Diverse work-settings and tech-enabled neighbourhoods have attracted employees back to the office, having a positive effect on the culture and connectivity of the team to drive performance, engagement and productivity. Designed to achieve WELL Gold Certification, GSK’s environmental health and wellbeing requirements were met by exceeding DDA requirements and applying neurodiverse zoning, circadian lighting, Moodsonic soundscaping and biophilia.
