Fanco opted for a design utilising bio-based plastic, with 25% of its content from bio-based carbon, significantly reducing fossil fuel use. The fans feature sustainably sourced timber blades with only a natural finish to minimise environmental impact. Committed to further sustainability, Fanco switched to 100% recyclable packaging, eliminating Styrofoam throughout their product range.

By prioritising sustainability, the Gaia sets a new standard in the ceiling fan industry, being an Australian first and possibly a world first. Fanco’s use of environmentally friendly materials and manufacturing processes aims to broaden access to sustainable options for Australian households.
