The core design challenge of the GLG90315 Series was achieving a complex balance of performance, intelligence, and reliability within an ultra-compact structure. To maximise installation compatibility for modern Australian kitchens, the chassis thickness was reduced to just 48mm. Within this limited internal space, the product needed to integrate multiple electronic systems including independent timers, rangehood-cooktop linkage, and rapid ignition technology, while also managing the intense heat generated by dual 23MJ/h high-output burners. Ensuring safe internal operating temperatures, effective heat dissipation, and long-term durability of precision components under severe thermal constraints became the project’s greatest engineering challenge.

To solve the project’s thermal and spatial challenges, the team developed the proprietary Hyper Flame Ring pan support system to optimise airflow and concentrate heat directly toward cookware, reducing heat transfer into the chassis while improving cooking efficiency. Extensive thermal simulation and heat-field analysis were used to refine internal component placement and maintain stable operating temperatures. By reorganising electronic systems within the ultra-slim 48mm chassis, the design successfully managed the extreme heat generated by dual 23MJ/h burners while ensuring long-term reliability and compatibility with compact Australian kitchens.
