With the E-TEC combustion technology, the Evinrude G2 150-200HP range of outboard engines delivers the industry’s lowest reportable total emissions. And do so with a clean rigging concept for a safer deck environment and a coloured panel system that allows the user to match the colour accent of his boat.

  • The Evinrude E-TEC G2 is the second generation of the G1 two-stroke direct fuel injection outboard which offers the power and torque efficiency of a 2-stroke engine with precise oil and fuel distribution to provide the lowest global emissions of the industry.

  • On a standard boat all cables, electrical wires and fuel lines needed to gear shift, tilt and steer an outboard engine run over the rear deck of the boat and come out in a jumbled mess due to various constraints and regulations (minimum radius, fuel line pinching). In the case of the Evinrude E-TEC G2 200 to 150HP models, the Design and Engineering teams eliminated all the mechanical cables by introducing a digital steering and tilting system. In addition, all remaining links were channelled into a single flexible tube, connected at the side of the stern bracket which resulted in a much cleaner and usable stern environment.

  • The unique central frame with modular side and top enclosures construction makes BRP/Evinrude the only OEM able to offer a large palette of colour choices at a marginal cost. This innovation now allows consumers to choose the absolutely perfect engine to harmonize with their boat by selecting top and side panels, as well as accent colours that match their boat.

  • Crisp edges with softly crowned surfaces provide a timeless sense of modernity. The unique vertical assembly, made of a central skeleton enclosed by vertical panels and seams, makes the Evinrude E-TEC G2 200-150HP collection clearly stand out from the crowd as it distinguishable from 100 metres away.
