  • IMPACT
  • Clean, considered and minimal interiors demand equally restrained electrical accessories. The design team revisited existing designs to reproduce elements which were appreciated while delivering something that was more flat, slim and minimal but still with interesting detail. Additionally as Clipsal is strongly linked with electricians and and new product brought to market must help them in their business and not cause any unnecessary stress to install.

  • To ensure all the different needs of our users are met, Clipsal utilized a bi-face approach. The Solis™️ front cover, designed with the end-user in mind, is an interchangeable switch plate made from a satin-painted recycled plastic. The back grid, focused on being robust and practical for electrical installers, is a modular interface that supports multiple product variations in one. Tailored to the needs of the end user, Architects, and Interior Designers, the front cover reflects a considered, minimal aesthetic with intuitive and non-intrusive LED indicators to help elevate the detail design elements of a refined and sophisticated product.

  • The light switch is perhaps one of the most commonly used elements within a home. Clipsal Solis™️ elevates this small daily experience through minimal yet exquisite details, and with a modular platform that enables a future of upgradability and connectivity. It provides the market with a product they have been asking for while delivering a platform that will allow people to more efficiently manage their energy and increase the sustainability of houses through connected technologies.
