Keeping babies rearward facing for as long as possible is the safest way to travel. At Britax, our convertible car seats have been designed enable rearward facing up to 30 months (approx.) supporting our motto "Rear for a Year". Therefore, keeping children as comfortable as possible, as they grow from infancy through to toddler age is important, enhancing the travel experience for parent and baby, as well as the probability to remain rearward facing for as long as possible.

We combined our Award winning Thermo5 High Performance fabric with Bamboo Charcoal with body conforming memory foam creating the ‘+Series’. This range delivers a complete premium car seats series with world-class child restraint safety protection as well as giving the child active comfort where it matters most (in the headrest, behind the back & on the seating surface).

Similar to solutions found in different industries (i.e. hospitals), by incorporating advanced materials such as memory foam with body conforming properties into the soft goods, we have been able to improve overall comfort and rear facing longevity. By locating this material into the soft goods at the right location, in combination with our Thermo5 High performance fabric, comfort is increased without increasing the overall temperature of the baby.
