  • SDI (Serial Digital Interface) cabling is a professional standard used to transmit uncompressed digital video, audio, and metadata over a single coaxial cable. Limited by fixed bandwidths, distance constraints and rigid infrastructure, SDI carries information as a single stream. Common to large events, long cable runs degrade signal quality, while routing changes require manual re-patching or expensive hardware. Supporting cloud-based platforms like Blackmagic Cloud, SMPTE 2110 IP is an alternative protocol offering greater flexibility, scalability and efficiency by transmitting video, audio, and data as separate, synchronized streams over standard IP networks. This enables dynamic routing, easier expansion and reduced cabling.

  • Decklink IP 100G is the easiest way of transferring video data directly into 2110 IP broadcast systems, designed to plug directly into any Mac Pro, Windows or Linux computer via its high speed PCIe connection. It can capture and playback multiple channels of uncompressed HD and UHD video data simultaneously, which allows racks of servers to generate broadcast graphics, virtual sets or GPU-based AI image processing all through 2110 IP broadcast infrastructure. Its integrated Precision Time Protocol (PTP) ensures low latency and highly precise, frame-accurate time synchronisation, crucial across multi-camera or distributed setups.

  • Blackmagic DeckLink IP 100G makes professional broadcasting more accessible by offering affordable, high-performance IP video capture and playback. It supports SMPTE ST 2110 IP for flexible, scalable workflows and enables real-time, low-latency processing through GPU integration. This empowers live production, AI-enhanced content, and remote broadcasting, helping smaller creators, educators, and independent media outlets produce high-quality content. Supporting remote and cloud-based workflows, it is ideal for modern, decentralized production environments like Blackmagic Cloud. DeckLink IP 100G is shaping modern workflows and enabling advanced media creation, expanding opportunities across the broadcasting landscape and fostering greater innovation and inclusivity in media production.

  • Blackmagic DeckLink IP 100G enhances 2110 IP broadcast workflows by streamlining and simplifying high-bandwidth, uncompressed IP video production—all while maintaining precision, flexibility, and professional quality. •Conforms to SMPTE ST2110, separating video, audio, and metadata streams for synchronized and efficient IP broadcast transport. •Fully compatible with IEEE 1588 Precision Time Protocol (PTP), crucial for frame-accurate synchronization across multi-camera or distributed setups. •Works with DeckLink SDK for custom development, with industry-standard DaVinci Resolve giving developers and broadcasters granular control over inputs and outputs in ST 2110 environments. •Supports simultaneous ingest and playout of multiple 4K or HD streams—ideal for live mixing, recording, or signal distribution in large workflows. •DeckLink IP 100G acts like a video firewall, blocking rogue access by isolating network traffic through secure frame buffer transfers. •Fast PCIe connection enables low-latency, synchronized capture/playback across multiple HD and Ultra HD video channels. •Supports 10-bit uncompressed video, ensuring pixel-perfect quality, superior green screen, VFX, and precise colour correction for high-end workflows. •Compatible with DaVinci Resolve and other software, allowing real-time capture, grading, and playback with Final Cut, Premiere, Fusion, and more. •Supports popular streaming tools like OBS and Wirecast, enabling conversion of IP feeds into streams for multiple online platforms.
