ASKO DW60 Style Dishwasher Series

The project set out to rethink the dishwasher as a complete system rather than a series of incremental improvements. The challenge was to create an appliance that remains relevant over time functionally, aesthetically and environmentally, while integrating naturally into contemporary open plan homes.Key considerations included supporting heavy kitchen fronts, reducing noise in shared living spaces, and accommodating diverse global user behaviours. The design also needed to balance increasing feature complexity with intuitive usability.Material durability, hygiene and long term performance were central to the brief, alongside creating a seamless user experience that reduces compromise in everyday dishwashing routines.

DW60 Style responds by aligning performance, flexibility and durability within a single integrated system. A redesigned washing system improves water distribution to deliver consistent cleaning results without the need for pre rinsing, while a multi level basket configuration adapts to different load types within one cycle.The project also addressed long term durability through extensive use of stainless steel and structural reinforcement to support heavier kitchen fronts. Noise reduction was another key, with operation as low as 39dB for open plan living.A restrained TFT interface, UV hygiene technology and connectivity features complete a solution designed for intuitive, everyday use.
