Tim Grant is the founder and director of Lifecycles, Australia’s leading life cycle assessment (LCA) consultancy, and one of the country’s most respected sustainability practitioners. With over 30 years of experience, he has authored hundreds of LCA studies and shaped the Australian National Life Cycle Inventory Database (AusLCI) — infrastructure now embedded across supply chains globally. Tim is the founding president of the Australian Life Cycle Assessment Society, an active contributor to ISO international standards development, and a member of UNEP’s Life Cycle Initiative. He has trained countless sustainability professionals and co-authored two internationally recognised texts on life cycle design. His work sits at the intersection of environmental science, product systems, and evidence-based decision-making — giving him a distinctive lens on how design choices shape real-world environmental outcomes.
