Lisa is an accomplished Industrial Designer with over 20 years of experience delivering innovative, user-focused products. She has held lead design roles at respected companies including Tiller Design and RØDE Microphones, where her expertise in CAD detailing has helped transform early-stage concepts into commercially successful solutions.
Lisa began her career as a model maker at Box & Dice, where she developed deep mechanical know-how and a hands-on, practical approach that continues to define her design methodology. Her passion lies in bridging creativity and engineering—bringing napkin sketches to life as functional, manufacturable products.
With formal training in Medical Product Development and ISO 13485 compliance, Lisa has a strong command of product safety, regulatory standards, and certification processes.
Her collaborative work has received multiple Good Design Awards, most notably Product of the Year in 2023 for the groundbreaking agricultural monitoring device, Bioscout.
In addition to her professional practice, Lisa is a dedicated educator and mentor. She contributes to the development of emerging designers through her teaching roles at UNSW and Western Sydney Uni, where she champions ethical, sustainable, and inclusive design methodologies.
