Dr Dolly Daou is an internationally recognised academic leader, design researcher, and educator with over 25 years of global experience across Australia, Europe, China, and the Middle East, where she has held senior leadership roles, driving innovation, influencing policies and social impact. Dr Daou is a PhD-qualified researcher with an extensive publication record, and a passionate advocate for integrating industry, technology, and community into transformative education. Her leadership has advanced program accreditations, global partnerships, and award-winning curricula, where she developed a bespoke design research methodology that transforms theoretical research into real-life impact. She is currently expanding her scholarly work through her latest Routledge publication and was recently awarded Citizen of the Year 2025 (Melbourne) for her outstanding contribution to design education and community engagement.
