Dewani is Head of Practice at Today, a social innovation design and technology studio working with government, NGOs, and not-for-profits. With over 15 years of experience in purpose-driven work and a background in UX and experience design, she brings deep expertise across strategy, design, and innovation, with particular fluency in co-design, service design, futures, generative and culturally responsive approaches.

In her role, Dewani works at the intersection of practice development and people leadership, shaping the strategic direction, design thinking, and innovative methodologies that help Today’s teams tackle Australia’s most complex social challenges. She champions community-led and strengths-based approaches, and is committed to scaling diverse and intersectional voices to shifting power in addressing systemic change.

Passionate about inclusive futures, Dewani uses creativity, imagination, curiosity and making as core instruments of her practice, weaving futures thinking and speculative design into both client work and Today’s own evolution.
