LAURENE VAUGHAN

Laurene has worked across a number of design and communication fields. These include interaction design, fashion and accessory design, retail and hospitality. 

She is a Professor of Design at RMIT University.  She served as Founding Dean of the School of Design 2018-2022. She was the Nierenberg Chair, Distinguished Professor of Design, at Carnegie Mellon University, 2012 – 2013. Internationally recognised as a leader in interdisciplinary and applied design research. She is a Fellow of the RSA (Royal Society for Arts, Manufacturers and Commerce).
