Melinda is a trusted responsible fashion and retail strategist advising brands on ethical sourcing, stakeholder engagement, sustainability, supply chain risk and communications. She is passionate about human rights, the circular economy, responsible innovation and assisting businesses to develop best practice strategies tailored to their market.

Included in the top ten of Ragtrader’s 2018 Power 30 list for the Australian fashion industry, Melinda frequently presents to business and academia and keeps up to date with developments in legislation, international protocols, market tools and best practice industry initiatives on living wage, textile and environment standards, the circular economy and Modern Slavery.

In a pro bono capacity, Melinda established Fashion Revolution in Australia and New Zealand in 2013 and sits on its Global Advisory Committee. She appeared in the 2017 ABC documentary series ‘War on Waste’ and is an Ambassador for The Garage Sale Trail.

Melinda holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Macquarie University and has undertaken postgraduate studies at the Global Reporting Initiative, Cambridge University and the Financial Services Institute of Australia.
