Jack Bryce OAM is design advisor to government, business, land management authorities, residential, tourism and transit projects across Australia and internationally. He is a policy advisor and creative facilitator for complex city-shaping infrastructure and precincts development. He provides place strategy, design review and identity for precincts, events and places that connects design innovation, history, culture, environment and economy to enhance community and and cultural value for cities and regions.
He is Coordinator Urban Design at City of Gold Coast where he provides urban design policy and strategy advice. Prior to this, he was Principal Urban Designer at Moreton Bay Regional Council and multidisciplinary firms Cox Richardson, GHD and Minale Bryce Design Strategy.
Jack has extensive involvement in community and professional organisations across the planning, disability, urban design and experiential design sectors. He has previous juror experience with the Australian Urban Design Awards (AUDA) and the Queensland Ministers Urban Design Awards. In 2022 he was awarded the Medal of the Order of Australia for services to urban design and the community.
