CRAIG ANDREWS

Prior to establishing Design Momentum, a multi-disciplinary design firm in 2001, Craig spent twelve years as Senior Designer then Manager of Product Development for a large design and engineering consultancy in Boston, USA.

Involved with all aspects of the development process, from research through to manufacture, Craig has worked with clients worldwide and been responsible for a diverse range of projects, from consumer electronics and sports equipment to medical products and surgical equipment, including involvement in the development of “Abiocore” the world’s first totally artificial heart.

Craig has been an advisor to the National Health & Medical Research Council, supporter of the NSW Medical Device Network and part of the Australian Good Design Awards judging panel on several occasions.

His experience has been recognised in international publications, rewarded with numerous design awards and patents. Clients have included; P&G, Ingham Institute, Abiomed, Zodiac, Boston Scientific, Smith + Nephew, Sydney University, JBL, Bard, Sunbeam USA and TAFE NSW, among others.
