Dr Dolly Daou is an internationally recognised academic leader, design researcher, and educator with over 25 years of global experience across Australia, Europe, China, and the Middle East. She has held senior leadership roles including Program Director, Head of School, and Research Centre Director, driving innovation in food design, interior architecture, and cross-disciplinary entrepreneurship. Dr Daou is a PhD-qualified researcher with an extensive publication record, and a passionate advocate for integrating industry, technology, and community into transformative education. Her leadership has advanced program accreditations, global partnerships, and award-winning curricula. She is currently expanding her scholarly work through her publications. Unbounded On the Interior and Interiority and The Transformative Nature of Food: Adaptation, Connectivity and Identity.

Dr Daou was recently awarded Citizen of the Year (Melbourne) for her outstanding contribution to design education and community engagement and was the finalist for Kingston Community award, Women of Year (2024). Also the recipient of Al-Safeer Congress Ambassador’s Award from Dubai Economy and Tourism.
