Florencia Martinez is a Sydney-based Design Manager at Breville/Sage, with a background in product and CMF (Colour, Material & Finish) design. Over the past 15 years, she’s worked with global teams to create thoughtful, intuitive, and beautiful products — including leading the CMF design strategy for Google Pixel phones while based in San Francisco.

At Breville, Florencia guides the design process across multiple product categories, from early concept through to production. She’s passionate about building a strong, values-led design culture — one that supports creativity, empowers teams, and delivers products that people genuinely love to use.

Alongside her role at Breville, Florencia is the Australia/New Zealand colour and trend contributor for MIX Magazine, and a seasonal tutor at UNSW. When she’s not working, you’ll likely find her feeding her obsession with architecture, making jewellery, or out in the surf. Pilates, being a mum, and a good side project always keep things interesting.
