June has more than 23 years of experience in the street furniture industry, with a background spanning both marketing and industrial design. As Director of Strategy and Innovation at Street Furniture Australia, she leads the ideas-to-market process to drive business growth, with a focus on elevating the public space experience. June has partnered on numerous award-winning research collaborations with government bodies and universities, including the ACT Government, Sydney Olympic Park Authority, Georges River Council, UNSW and the University of Sydney. Her team’s work has been recognised internationally, featuring in The Wall Street Journal, the World Bank’s The Hidden Wealth of Cities, Bloomberg CityLab, ArchDaily and ABC Radio, among others. Her contributions have been recognised through major industry awards, including the Good Design Award, the Australian Smart Cities Award and the PIA National Award.
