The HP 14 Laptop PC Eco Edition is a special laptop designed for students and hybrid workers with an emphasis on sustainability. It is affordably priced and features a focus on using sustainable materials and improving performance.
The challenge was this: we know how to make a computer with sustainable materials. We also know how to make an affordable computer. What we didn't know was how to do both in the same computer, while pushing the limits of organic material, using it in places we previously had not used it.
The 14" high resolution QHD panel, Intel Raptor Lake P-series CPU, full HD webcam, and 41 watt-hour battery all contribute to a high-performing, user-friendly experience.
The packaging is made from recycled pulp and contains no plastic, setting the tone for the user's relationship to the product over its lifespan. Additionally, every touchable surface and most internal parts have been made sustainably, using materials such as recycled aluminum, EPS, food oil, and plastic. The laptop is also designed for easy disassembly and serviceability, with spare parts available globally.
The 14” HP Laptop PC Eco Edition is available in verdigris green or waterfall blue, using 50% PCR, 50% reclaimed aluminum, and 9% bio-based resin, making it the newest addition to HP’s goal of having the most sustainable product line, ever.
