The HR-V provides the perfect balance of personal space, utility and safety. The unique exterior design echoes that of a coupe, with sharp, dynamic lines linking the sleek upper body with the stable and planted lower body. This coupe-esque elegance is achieved without compromising the interior practicality of the car.

Engineers set out to ensure the all-new HR-V takes pride of place next to Honda’s other global core models Civic, Accord and CR-V by designing a vehicle with state-of-the-art technology, contemporary styling and dynamic performance.

  • MORE
  • It may look compact in size, but the Honda HR-V is enormous in style. The HR-V fuses the sleek upper body design of a coupe with the strong lower body and powerful nose of an SUV. Whilst it appears to be a compact stylish three-door vehicle at first glance, the HR-V cleverly conceals rear door handles for five-door versatility. Inside lies a space practically without limits, where simple, streamlined design and clever compartments mean more room for things that matter most: people. With alluring LED headlights and Daytime Running Lights, front fog-lights, 17-inch alloy sports wheels, shark fin antenna and tailgate spoiler, the HR-V VTi-L is one sophisticated, cleverly designed vehicle.

  • The HR-V has a smooth yet gusty 1.8 litre i-VTEC petrol engine with a state-of-the-art Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) from Honda's Earth Dreams Technology series. It adjusts to driving conditions and coaches the engine to operate at the most efficient RPM level, resulting in a smoother, more economical drive. Every contour of the HR-V has been maximised for strength, agility and performance, with reinforced steel and high-efficiency joint structures that create greater stability and rigidity. Moving the fuel tank forward and centre gives the HR-V a lower centre of gravity, making cornering on open roads, negotiating parking spaces and cruising urban roads a breeze.

  • Syncing a compatible smartphone means you stay connected to the outside world hands-free, with all the functionality of Bluetooth or Siri. Tap, pinch and swipe to access your contacts and music on the impressive seven-inch colour touch screen. You can easily view fuel consumption, trip distance, outside temperature and more on the Multi-Information Display (MID) screen. The high-deck centre console is not only practical, it also enhances the feeling of personal space in the HR-V. One of its clever features is the beverage holder that can be configured to hold either large bottles or smaller cups. There are buttons located in the storage area that can enable either a shallow or deep option.

  • Honda is committed to designing every model with outstanding safety features and the HR-V VTi-L is no exception. It features City-Brake Active System which uses a laser sensor placed behind the rear-view mirror to alert the driver with visual and audible warnings before automatically reducing the vehicle speed if a pending collision is detected. Honda's LaneWatch displays a live view of the left lane traffic when indicating left, thanks to a hidden camera mounted under the passenger door mirror. It is designed to minimise blind spots, providing four times the visibility than traditional side view mirrors. Every HR-V features a multi-angle reversing camera with three modes: normal, wide and top-down.

It's all about comfort in the HR-V VTi-L. Little luxuries such as the soft-touch centre console and dash, leather-appointed interior with heated front seats, sophisticated stitch detail and piano black and chrome accents throughout make the HR-V equally as polished on the inside. Honda's genius Magic Seats, with four modes and 18 different seating configurations means there is so much clever storage space. The HR-V defies its label as a compact SUV. The already expansive cabin is further enhanced by the panoramic glass sunroof. With tinted glass to control cabin light, the sunroof can also be tilted or retracted to let the great outdoors and summer sun shine in.
